EXTENDED: Feedback on proposed solutions for traffic calming and safety improvements on Cambridge Road, Hardwick

NB: This poll was closed due to the General Election but has now been reopened until midnight 24th December to be discussed in the January Parish Council meeting.

The Hardwick Parish Council requests your feedback on proposed traffic calming and road safety improvements identified in a project feasibility study as part of a possible application for the Local Highway Improvement (LHI) Initiative.

In particular note the proposed “optimum solution”:

Installation of 4 sets of 2 bolt down rubber speed cushions at intervals not
exceeding 100m on Cambridge Road . Proposed locations from detailed design but to include the area covered by the advisory 20mph wig wags school safety zone with the first set south of the local shop to avoid issues related to on street parking. Include required hump warning signs as (4 no) on Cambridge Rd, Limes Rd and Egremont Rd.
