There were 199 Souls living in the Parish at that time in 48 Dwelling Houses.

Of the occupations there were:

1 BLACKSMITH
2 CARPENTERS
1 WOODMAN
1 CARRIER
2 SCHOOL TEACHERS
1 SCHOOL MONITRESS
1 LAUNDRESS
5 SERVANTS
The Remainder being a LABOURER of some kind.

Of the 46 children age 4 to 14 only 17 are shown as attending school but this may not be correct.

Of the 261 persons born in HARDWICK in the National Index only 121 were still living in the village.

Names that ring a bell with me are BOND KESTER RANDALL MARSHALL.
